Within easy reach of the rest of the UK, good public transport services connect to the Yorkshire Dales by road, rail and air. Services are supplemented during the summer months and on bank holidays.

Yorkshire Dales Bus Services
The Yorkshire Dales is served by a number of local bus companies providing easy access from the nearby towns villages and cities. Information, timetables, route planners and details are available from Dales Bus, the official site of The Yorkshire Dales Public Transport Users Group.
Yorkshire Dales Rail
The Dales are on a main railway line between Leeds and Carlisle, the famous Settle-Carlisle railway. With stations in Skipton, Settle, Horton in Ribblesdale, Ribblehead and Garsdale.
Yorkshire Dales Coach Services
The dales and district bus is a public transport service operated by Procters Coaches.
Yorkshire Dales by Air
Access by air to the Yorkshire Dales is provided at the Leeds/Bradford Airport (Tel: 0113 2509696) just outside the south of the park, and the Durham Tees Valley Airport (Tel: 01325 332811) in the north. Taxi and bus services operate between both airports and the main towns and villages in the Yorkshire Dales.
